FIND YOUR SPOUSE IS A PROJECT DEDICATED TO HELP YOU TO FIND A MUSLIM SPOUSE FOR MARRIAGE
ABOUT US
Find Your Spouse was setup to help facilitate introductions between those wishing to get married in a halal and dignified environment.
Our mission:
As a Muslim in the 21st-century, with all the opportunities and challenges that entails, you are probably familiar with the difficulty of finding the perfect spouse. Doubtless you have experienced various online apps, and your parents most likely (maybe secretly) have spoken to “aunties” to find the right partner for you, but through no fault of your own you may still be single and trying to find a partner in a modern way but one which sticks to the codes of halal.
In the modern world we are more connected than ever but at the same time disconnected – our communities are no longer so tight knit as they used to be during Prophet Muhammed’s time ﷺ due to various historical reasons. However, Allah decided that we should live in this particular time, so it is up to us to make it better. To this end we created Find Your Spouse – a Muslim platform, which unites Islamic communities in the spouse searching process and helps you to find the partner, who complements you, in a modern, but halal environment.
“They are clothing for you and you are clothing for them…” [2:187]
Our mission is to help our ummah, Muslims to find the right spouse and create a Muslim family. We follow Islamic values and help Muslims to find the partner who InshAllah will be their one partner in this life and hereafter. Of course, only Allah knows best, but what we can do is to try and do our best in this mission.
“And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquillity in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.” [30:21]
The beginnings:
It all started whilst volunteering in a mosque. Margarita and other sisters created a new Muslims group for the convert sisters, and amongst all issues finding a husband was one of the most challenging. Then we found that it is challenging not just for converts, but also for born Muslims. After multiple years of experience of coaching, organising events and helping expats to find friends abroad, the idea for Find Your Spouse was born.
We wanted to create a platform where in a friendly, but halal, atmosphere people can meet each other and find their spouse. A platform which would connect modern, technological, web/app methods with the traditional “auntie” way in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
We hope that we managed it and of course we continue evolving and improving, with the help of you, dear participants!
At our events statistically every 4th person finds their match, so why wait, you could be the next one!
With this modern and updated website the process has become easier, faster and smoother. Let us know, what do you think?
